Getting feeddo.com Up and Running

One of our September 07 goals is to try to increase the number of seeded Feeddo users to around 100 users and determine how many end up adopting it.

To help get there we are working on getting feeddo.com up and running. We did a few iterations on the design and have reached the point where we have a sketch we and, most importantly, our users feel comfortable about:

Sketch of Feeddo.com
How do we get there?

We need to move the feeddo infrasture from our garage to something more reliable. So far we have shortlisted Hurricane Electric and Silicon Valley Colocation. At this point, we running Feeddo city on less than forty cores distributed on less than five servers so this should be an easy snake to kill.

We need to get a decent logo for feeddo. Something simple but a little more sophisticated then the placeholder we have been using. We have a designer working on it. We should be able to show you a shortlist of options soon.

We need to create a demo video. This is the part I am the most excited about because of the learning curve, both in terms of what hardware and software is going to be needed as well as the imagination needed to create something fun and inspiring.

We will try to have more detailed posts on each topic along the way. If you have suggestions and advices you would like to share with us (and the rest of the internet), please post a comment.
