Over the last six months, we have been actively listening to all the contructive feedback the feedly early adopters have been providing us. Thanks to this feedback, we have been iterating every week – adding features, addressing bugs, removing features, etc…. Over the last six weeks this strategy has started to pay off: we are now able to retain and engage more users – and get as a result a lot more feedback and suggestions.
We want to continue this organic, iterative, user-driven, way of designing feedly. As such, we have deciced to completely open our roadmap, providing you more visibility and also giving you the opportunity to work more closely with us.
Specifically, here is a Google Spreadsheet which captures most of the feedback, issues, suggestions we are looking at right now:
You can access the full/live document here (Note: We are going to add a lot more cross referencing between this document and getsatisfaction in the next week or so – so that people can see how each line maps to what the community has been suggesting).
There are 3 ways you can contribute to this document if you are a feedly user (sorry: we do not really care about the abstract opinions of people who do not actively use feedly):
- We are open to give you edit rights if you want to collaborate actively (send me an email to email@example.com with roadmap in the title)
- You can shout @feedly on twitter
- You can post issues and ideas on http://www.getsatisfaction.com/feedly
We might not agree with all the suggestions or implement them but we look forward to continuing the conversation.
