How to Use Feedly Video /by Heidi Allen

Heidi Allen has created a short introduction video on how she uses feedly. Short. Informative. Very valuable if you are starting to use feedly.

A couple of things came to mind while watching this video. Things that we should polish in the feedly product going forward:

  1. We should make it easier to subscribe to a feed in Google Chrome
  2. We should have a better way of displaying twitter feeds in feedly
  3. We should be more explicit about that fact that there is a preference knob to remove the /cc @feedly postfix

*Thank you* Heidi!!

  1. I just wanted to point out that the easy part of subscribing with feedly as she showed is not a feedly feature it is a Firefox feature as you simply can change the dropdown to Google Reader or others. It is the Firefox Live Bookmarks feature which I believe came in Firefox 2.0

  2. Hi,
I’ve tried to add my first website to feedly but when I click on the subscribe by RSS link on the page I don’t get the option to add it to feedly. The options are live bookmarks, choose application, google or yahoo. Is this something I have to set up with firefox as mentioned in the first comment?
