Feedly for iPhone – Release Candidate

It has been a busy week.

After 14 months of hard work [1], we have submitted feedly for iphone to Apple for review!

We have 50 invitations to give away. We are looking for people who would be interested in getting early access to the application in exchange of helping us during the launch.

So if you  would like to contribute to the feedly for iphone launch (product reviews, photos, videos or any other creative ideas you might have), please send an email to iphone@devhd.com with …1) your iphone UDID, …2) a one paragraph description of how you would like to contribute to the launch and …3) if you have one, your twitter handle. [Update: Sorry. We are sold out. We will let you know if Apple grants us some new invites. Thank you for your enthousiasm]

Thank you!

[1] We are very grateful to all the beta users for the feedback and support during the last 8 weeks!

    1. Thanks Carl. Our current focus is to get iphone and android out first. We are exploring in parallel how to take the best elements of the feedly for iphone and feedly for desktop and offer a feedly for ipad but we have not fully cracked that nut yet so no time-line yet.

    2. That’s absolutely great news! Do you have any idea how long the review process will take?
Please send an invite as soon as they become available!

Please make it early November, lol
    Can’t wait!

  2. I’m very excited for the release — and excited for you all. I love Feedly and think this will be a great app!

  3. If it can be tested in Ipod Touch 2G ljust the same as olmectheholy, the count me on! You’ve got my email.

Could we at least get a confirmation now that there certainly will be such a thing?

  5. i love feedly for my desktop however @pulsePad has a very strong app and not that I would ever suggest ‘copying’ I would certainly refer to the user experience.

of the best features is that it elegant which makes reading feel more like holding a magazine over reading ‘rss’ feeds.

there are so many intangibles i like about the product i suggest anyone try it.

best of luck to you and can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to.

    1. Hello Pulsepad has an OK product on the ipad but the experience is not that great on the iphone: instead of rethinking their product for the iphone for factor, they simply reduced its size. We will let you judge which of feedly or pulsepad offers the best reading experience on the iphone!

  6. Love Feedly. Waiting excitedly for Iphone version. Have a question on running Feedly on Windows 7. Are there themes or skins available? I’ve installed a few third party skins, but not with any success. Thanks,

    Lori

  7. I’m waiting for feedly for opera, now opera will support plugins..would be this th next step??..thanks……..

  8. Probably covered elsewhere – sorry, but I didn’t see it.
Is there no version that’ll work on an iPod Touch (v2, v3, v4?).

If not, I’ll hold out for the Android version.

  9. Will the android beta be an open or closed one?

I recall that you once mentioned that it will be open but I’d like to be sure

  10. Hello,

I am looking forward to the feedly for iPhone app very much – is there any update about its release?

    Thanks
