Our focus for the next 2 weeks is quality and stability. Here are a few ways the community can engage into this effort.

1) Sync’ing issue. If you feel that feedly is not in sync across your devices, please log out of all your devices and log back in. If you still do not see the same feeds and content across devices, please send an email to care@feedly.com with [sync] in the title and description about the issue you are seeing.

2) Feeds not being refreshed. If you subscribe to a feed and do not see article being delivered to your feedly for that feed, verify that the feed URL points to a valid feed and if so, send an email to care@feedly.com with [feed] in the title and the feed URL in the body with a short description of the issue. We are working with publishers to whitelist the feedly fetcher.

3) Client crashes or Javascript error. If you run into an error in the mobile app or a javascript error when using http://cloud.feedly.com, please try to un-install the app and re-install it. If you are able to reproduce the issue with a clean session, send an email to care@feedly.com with as much information as possible. If you are a tech savvy person and can send the browser console log, it is very helpful.

4) Migration issues. During the migration, you should expect your unread count to be reset given that you are starting on the feedly cloud with a new history. But your categories, tags and starred items should carry over. If you had issues during the migration, please send an email to edwin@feedly.com with the information included in http://cloud.feedly.com/#console and we will try to help.

5) Blank page issue. If you try to load http://cloud.feedly.com from a desktop browser and you get a blank page, it is most likely because a proxy is blocking it or one of your extensions is blocking it. Please go to chrome://extensions and temporarily disable and re-enable your extensions.

6) Widget and feedly mini. The feedly Android widget and the feedly mini companion are back to the design lab. They will come back in v17 more capable and less intrusive. Thanks for your patience.

We will be reviewing bugs and pushing out patches every 2-3 days until we are all happy with the quality and the reliability of the system.

  1. Still getting following error message whenever I try to open Feedly:
“This webpage is not found No webpage was found for the web address: chrome-extension://hipbfijinpcgfogaopmgehiegacbhmob/gc-launcher.htm
Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found.”

  2. Hey, I had sent you a couple of IMs and Emails related to the rendering of feeds as HTML rather than text. Have you had a chance to look at the same? I will be available at vaibhavgarg1982 on Skype in about an hour from now, so ping me if you want more details.

  3. I work in IT for a major corporation. I just want to say you are doing a fabulous job communicating with your end users. Great TCM! And you have significantly improved the quality of the app. You have done wonders with this opportunity that was thrust upon you. Keep up the great work!

  4. I have some trouble with reading feed. When i access and mark as read some news, after that, i access again and some news get unread again. This happen after migration to feedly cloud.

    1. Sorry. This sounds like a bug. Do you read on cloud.feedly.com? Do you happen to use the browser refresh button to reload feedly or the feedly refresh button?

    2. Happens here all the time. With Firefox, Opera, Chrome. Same issue when using an app, in my case Nextgen Reader for WP8.

      1. Sorry, my problem is the opposite: I cannot mark articles as unread, after a refreseh the appear as “read” again.

  5. I can’t acces from my desktop… i’ve tried different computers and browsers and chrome incognito, but all i get is a blank page. All feedly extensions uninstalled.

From the console, i get this errors:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL 10101_web01.js:1095
Uncaught ReferenceError: devhd is not defined 10101_web02.js:4

    1. Hmm. Which browser is that coming from? Can you try to shift+reload the content of cloud.feedly.com?

  6. Hi!
Loving using Feedly, on the iPad I have been using Newsify without problems.
On my iMac I have been using cloud.feedly with Safari, and the “m” shortcut to mark as unread isn’t working, at least on the “list view” mode (haven’t tried on others).

  7. Same problem with blank page in Firefox 22. Disabled every add-on and plugin, was even trying the safe mode, but nothing works: same blank page. Everything was working perfectly with Firefox plugin, but you guys had to disable it today :(( FF debugger shows s3.feedly js tries to load 10101_web01.js and 10101_web02.js, but nothing happens on the page – just blank. Could you at least bring back your Firefox extension – it was working just fine until today. OTOH, feedly cloud loads just fine in IE10, but that browser is so damn ugly.

      1. I can induce a behavior *like this* at will with any desktop browser (including CURL from a CLI) simply by hopping on our (Juniper) VPN. Leaving the VPN, refreshing the page, restores content. The trick is to open the browser and cloud.feedly.com before engaging the VPN. Then don’t close the browser. I believe the trouble in my case is either DNS name resolution or routing. It’s weird. s3.feedly.com and cloud.feedly.com are affected, but very little else. That’s weird, too.

  8. I’m not having wholesale syncing issues, but it seems like in every session, 1-3 of the most recent articles that I marked as read in a previous session return as unread. This only occurs on multiple sessions between platforms (I use iPhone, iPad, and Chrome on Mac).

Also: I think you’ve changed something with ‘Mark all as read’ at the bottom of the page… if new articles come in for a list view while I’m reading it, they don’t seem to get displayed at all (whereas before—I think—they were added to the bottom of the list), and yet, they’re still marked as read when I press the big button at the bottom. Seems broken that I could mark an article as read without ever having seen it.

    1. I agree. Items that come in after you load the folder/category/feed should not get marked read when pressing the mark as read button. It should only apply up to the latest item that we have seen/loaded. This is the way Google Reader works as well.

    2. If “mark as read on scroll” worked well we wouldn’t need a “mark all as read” at the bottom of the page. Google Reader didn’t make use of a feature like this.

This way only the viewed articles would really mark as read and no worry if new articles have come in.

  9. Thanks for the cloud version and 1-click import. Unfortunately, I’m still having issues with imported tags! I see all of my tags on the left side, but when trying to tag a new article from within feedly, the tag list in the pop-up is empty. When I click on create tag to re-create one of the existing tags, it shows up as a duplicate. Help!

  10. Feedly works pretty well on my desktop and it is a good replacement of google reader. But there is serious issue with feedly android app which should be fixed. I have an android tablet having ICS 4.0.3, i installed feedly app on it butt the app is totally dead, no touch works and no response at all. Finally i installed another app “pulse resder” which works pretty well. So please geive head to this issue so thet i can enjoy feedly on my tablet as well.

    1. I use Feedly on a tablet running ICS and a smartphone running JB. None of them have that issue.

On android there’s a lot of external things that can affect the normal work of an app. Clear data and cache for Feedly and sure it will work. Uninstall/install won’t be enough if cache and data gets corrupted as most of it remains after uninstalling.

    1. To fix the blank page in IE 9 this worked for me: Hit F-12, click Browser Mode in the toolbar and select Internet Explorer 9. Then select Document Mode next to it and select Internet Explorer 9 standards.

      1. I did this for IE9, but when I go to login, I get:
        The webpage cannot be found
        HTTP 404
        Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.
        What you can try:
        Retype the address.
Go back to the previous page.
Go to and look for the information you want.
        More information

      2. hello.

I did it and thanks to you now at least I can see the frontpge. But when I am trying to log in and I click on login item, nothing happens.

        Could you help pls?

  11. I have deleted all items and subscriptions from feedly and now I have empty feedly and import from goolge reader does nothing.

  12. Hi there – thanks for all the updates. I still can’t get feedly to work in IE8 (which I have to use at work). It just comes up with a blank screen. Are you going to be able to fix this before we lose google reader?

  13. Really enjoying the look and feel of Feedly so far, although since clicking on the “1-click migration” button my iPhone hasn’t been sync-ing at all with the cloud version. So I’ve just logged back into the Cloud version to find 999+ unread articles, and none of my saved articles stored. As suggested in this article, I’ve now logged out and back in to the iPhone app, and that’s got things into sync, although I’ve lost the saved articles into a sea of unread.

Hopefully I’m fully migrated now and it’ll be plain sailing from here on in.

  14. Things seem OK here in FF22 but I’m curious if I’m using the Feedly extension or not. It says the extension is version 16.0.528 in Add-Ons but in the bottom left of the Feedly window it says 16.0.531 and I have cloud.feedly.com in the address bar. What does the extension do that the website doesn’t (other adding a toolbar button)? Suppose I could just remove the extension and see what’s different from having it installed.

    1. As far as I know the extension now works only as a link or shortcut to cloud.feedly.com.

Maybe that’s the reason why feedly mini doesn’t work anymore. Feedly said they are working on a new extension maybe for givin feedly mini capabilities and unread count.

  15. The number of #likes (the green number with the heart symbol) is only visible in the “today” list, not in the feeds themselves.

        1. Same here. Only a handful of posts have an engagement number. Used to lots more.

Very important feature to lose :-(.

    1. Try clearing data and cache for feedly instead of just uninstalling. Lots of data remain after uninstalling apps in android. Clearing them will solve most issues.

  16. YouTube feeds take ages to arrive in Feedly. New video postings that appear in Google Reader (or in my “Reeder”, to be more precise) basically take a day longer to finally show up in Feedly. Being someone who has tons of YouTube RSS subscriptions, this is really very, very annoying to me.

Could you look into this? Thanks!

    1. Sounds like is more a problem with google rather than feedly. It’s no wonder that youtube rss updated almost instantly in Google Reader being both part of Google. Now google has to serve those feeds to third party services like feedly.

      1. Other readers such as Digg update just as fast as Google did. And if you view the feed directly in the browser, you can see that Feedly indeed is pretty much a day behind the content of that URL. Strangely this only seems to happen with YouTube though.

        1. Youtube or Google must whitelist feedly so they serve feeds instantly. Again, it depends on google rather than feedly.

  17. Hi! Thanks for responding to me support email. Wait, no, you didn’t. Thanks.

I did find the solution to the problem, which also lies in the post..Ad Block. Disabling it made all of my content show.

However, I refuse to turn off Ad Block for this site, and I find it reprehensible that you try to shunt in ads in such a shady, backhanded way. Now I am glad that I don’t see any of my feeds, cause you guys deserve absolutely nothing from my pageviews.

    Thanks for absolutely nothing.

    1. I confirm this. I turned off AdBlock, and now my feeds are refreshing again. Another little bug – when I press “mark as read”, some news still remain “unread”. It’s not so bad, but Adblock? No, I’m not going to disable it.
And, yes, I haven’t received a reply to my letter too.

  18. I, too, got a black page everytime I tried to access cloud.feedly.com on Chrome from my desktop browser. But when I deleted the Feedly extension for Chrome, it worked. If you downloaded a Feedly browser extension before they rolled out the cloud, then maybe try deleting your browser extension.

  19. Heads-up on item 5, blank page — for me this occured with the Firefox (Iceweasel) setting “Cookies: Ask Every Time”; addons or other settings did not affect the behavior. Expected behavior: a dialog should pop up asking what action to take (accept or deny), but it never does.
Sidenote: Feedly scores very poorly when it comes to trackers, content requests, cookies etc. and behaves badly with blockers installed. This has been a recurring issue you ought to address.

      1. same here – using Firefox Page Info Permissions to override my Ask Every Time default lets feedly start. this needs to be fixed; I don’t need or want cookies from everybody in the world hanging around

  20. Unclutter crashes IOS Feedly roughly 10% of the time .. I also seem to be having an issue where some articles that I read are being marked unread. Other than that, Feedly is great (Though I would love a way to quickly read the whole article in uncluttered mode and a quick way to return)

  21. I have sent countless tweets but haven’t received any replies yet. Maybe you guys are too busy or I am using the wrong methods. Point is, Mini is not working and I don’t know what is the reason. Until yesterday the rss feeds were not working well when adding content by url or name search but that’s solved now.

  22. I’m a long time fan of Feedly and have 270 feeds. I have been heavily dependent on the automarking as read feature, but lately I have been experiencing issues with this feature, as the last two or three pages os articles are not automarked as read before having been refreshed and seen again. Furthermore, I am no longer able to transition from folder to folder, as the normal transition screen does not appear and instead the ‘All articles read’-screen appears. I am not sure, whether I have come to the right place, or whether I am the only one experiencing these issues, nor am I sure whether they will be fixed in the coming weeks automatically, but I hope you will look into it. Thanks in advance!

    1. I’m experiencing a similar issue and this sounds like maybe two functions have gotten mixed up.
When I try to run a ‘Mark older than one day’ as read, it instead jumps to the next feed, leaving all my articles still unread.
Mark All as unread seems to work, but for my News feeds I like to clean out old news if I haven’t been able to catch up on them.

  23. please help. I faced this problem for days. Every times I tried to login, its ok to redirected to google and then switch back to feedly, working. Then I close feedly tab, reopen, and I have to login again. It’s happen every time I tried to open feedly and it make me real frustrated. Please fix asap.
    Mac Lion – Safari 6.0.5.

  24. In internet Explorer 10, sometimes the keyboard shortcuts are not working and I have to manually click and _open_ an article to restore them. Just clicking on the article box (I always use the full article view)is not enough.

  25. >>> I have deleted all items and subscriptions from feedly and now I have empty feedly and import from goolge reader does nothing.

Same story. What can I do?

    1. I am too using WordPress, and it is great I know. Do you really read the atilcre or only the heading? As you can know why it is better for beginners in blogging, I am not saying about experienced bloggers.

  26. Starting yesterday evening, I began seeing a discrepancy in the number of unread items in the left sidebar vs how many unread articles there actually are in the folder. Refreshing doesn’t help. Rebooting doesn’t help. Here’s a screenshot (click to embiggen) if WordPress will let me include it:

  27. Reader is really good, but I have big trouble with widgets… It’s not working. I see blue theme, title “feedly” and nothing more. I’m using Nova Launcher.

    1. Same here Nova Launcher and Galaxy Note 2. Blue theme, feedly title, no clicky, nothing more.

  28. Hi – thanks for all the updates. I can’t get feedly to work in IE9 with WIN7 (which I have to use at work). It just comes up with a blank screen. Are you going to be able to fix this?

    1. To fix the blank page in IE 9 this worked for me: Hit F-12, click Browser Mode in the toolbar and select Internet Explorer 9. Then select Document Mode next to it and select Internet Explorer 9 standards.

        1. Has this been sorted out yet?! I am using IE 9 with vista on my work computer and if I do the f12 thing as listed above and switch to IE 8 and then back to IE 9 I can see the start page, but as hmmpf said above, nothing happens when you click the log in button.

          1. THEY DON”T CARE. This has been going on for over 3 weeks on different browsers and they haven’t fixed it or even acknowledged the problem. Many people are telling them that they are experiencing this and they just ignore them.

I moved on to using The Old Reader for RSS feeds and it works just fine.

  29. You also should look at the Feedly extenssion for Chrome. After switching to Feedly servers this extenssion does not show count of unread messages any more.

  30. Sir, I used feedly, it has everything ;a good
    design,a good
    function,running also so nice.
But is it the real alternative of google
We found a limitation in feedly.
Which makes the difference and unable to be
    the real alternative of google
I don’t know whether you used google reader
or not but now I will say the
key thing which can make the best and the
    alternative of google reader.
In google reader we can only read feeds, but
in feedly we can read feeds
and the article followed by that feeds which is
    not available in google
But what not available in feedly?
I think this is not only in feedly. I have not
    found any reader which have
    that feature of google reader.

    The limitation@@@@@@
In feedly the feeds of a site are limited. The
    feeds are only about 10,15
or 30 days. But in google reader you will find
    all feeds from any site(i.e.
from the beginning of site…means the oldest
    feed of a site.)
So kindly solve and be the real alternative as
we need it and you need it
    to make the best.
I will reinstall if you provide the above feature.
When you provide the above feature let me be
Hope you read and provide us a good
    alternative ……….

  31. Wow. I’ve been using this program so far for only three days, and I’ve lost 0.6 lbs. Plus, I lost? half an inch off my waist:

  32. Guys, really, will you answer the questions regarding the missing engagement numbers or not?!

  33. It’s still impossible to use Feedly with IE8? Nobody has any alternative that syncs with Feedly? Even if it’s ugly and stinky! I’t would be better than a blank page!!

  34. Hi there, I just love feedly. Can’t complete my day without reading “today’s articles”.
I just wish the widget would work on my note 2. It’s stuck at the feedly logo. Can I expect it to be fixed in the next update?

  35. Come on pls bring back the widget or I will have no choice but to try flipboard. It’s been two months. Why didn’t u just leave the old widget in place until u sorted the new one? It was working fine

  36. I’m using a chromebook so no other browser options. Chrome Version 28.0.1500.95

For 2 days, feedly cloud give me a blank screen. Any urls /whatever from feedly cloud are also blank. Disabled all other extensions and apps, cleaned browser history, restarted the chromebook, added feedly to my cookie exceptions … still blank. I either want to find a resolution or a way to migrate to another service. Blah.

  37. Hey, having a problem with the app on my Android phone… I try to open the app and I get this message: v3/profile.SyntaxError unexpected token ILLEGAL -901 , everything worked fine this morning, can you please help?

  38. It’s seems that Feedly isn’t using Google Services and API via HTTPS when it should be. Hence, the add-on HTTPS-Everywhere knocks Feedly.com out with a blank page.
    Please handle Google traffic securely.
