We have hired Josh Catone to lead feedly’s marketing

We are excited to announce that Josh Catone has joined feedly to lead our content and community efforts.

Josh comes to us after nearly 5 years at Mashable, where he was Executive Director of Editorial Projects. He is a veteran of the new media landscape and has a deep understanding of the unbundling of media and the needs of content creators. His insight will be key in making feedly a better distribution platform for publishers.

Josh is going to play a key role in helping us deliver our mission of connecting people to the knowledge and creativity they need to become better at what they do.

We look forward to working with Josh, because he cares about our mission, he has an authentic voice and he has lots of ideas on how to better serve the feedly community.

It is great to see feedly growing and we’d like to offer a special thanks to the 25,000+ feedly Pro users whose backing makes our continued expansion possible.

Note: A big thank you, as well, to Leo Widrich of Buffer, for his coaching throughout the process.
